5 & 6 November 2022: Yayasan Nurjiwa held a special charity performance at the Plenary Hall, KLCC.
The performance, headlined by Malaysia’s number one singer, Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, aimed to raise funds for Yayasan Nurjiwa to continue its humanitarian missions and to provide an opportunity for fans to engage with her in a meaningful way. Dato’ Awie also made a special guest appearance to entertain the audience on that memorable night.
As the organizer and host of the event, Yayasan Nurjiwa carried high hopes that this initiative would help achieve its fundraising goals, enabling more aid missions to be carried out — especially during the flood season and in support of the people of Palestine affected by crisis.
For the third time, Yayasan Nurjiwa collaborated with event organizer Siti Nurhaliza Productions (M) Sdn Bhd to bring this charity performance to life, following previous concerts such as Konsert Satu Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza (2009), Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza Live In KLCC: Where The Heart Is (2014), and the most recent, Music of The Soul: An Evening With Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza (2022).
After years of not performing a large-scale concert, Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza returned to the stage with renewed spirit and strong purpose — to inspire her fans to join her in doing good. Beyond entertainment, the event aimed to raise awareness that NGOs and communities can unite to drive meaningful efforts, while also allowing fans to reconnect with the beloved artist.
“I truly believe that the more hands we have to help, the further our efforts can reach. I’m grateful that throughout our flood relief missions, our support for Palestine, and during the COVID-19 crisis, many companies and individuals have come forward to be part of Nurjiwa’s initiatives,” she shared.
